The Florida Museum of Natural History is one of the 5 largest and most comprehensive natural history museums in the United States. The main attractions are the permanent exhibition halls that explore Florida's unique habitats and cultural history, and the exciting temporary exhibits. Permanent exhibits include: Florida Fossils: Evolution of Life & Land, Northwest Florida: Waterways & Wildlife and South Florida People & Environments. The Florida Museum of Natural History is also home to the Butterfly Rainforest.

Harn Museum of Art

One of the largest university-owned art museums in the United States. The permanent collections feature African, pre-Columbian, Asian, American, and contemporary works. The Harn is the permanent home of Claude Monet's Champ d’avoine (Oat Field).

The Hippodrome State Theatre is recognized as one of the leading regional theaters in the country, staging productions for more than 60,000 people annually. The Mainstage theater uses professional actors and has its own set and costume designers and sound and lighting engineers.

The Haile family had an unusual obsession: they wrote on the walls of their home. Don’t miss the "Talking Walls," over 12,500 words written by family and friends in almost every room and closet. The walls will speak of joys and sorrows of more than a century ago. Also of note is the exhibit on the Enslaved Builders of the Plantation.

The Kika Silva Pla Planetarium provides weekend shows for the Public, and weekday shows for School Field Trips and other groups by reservation.

Public Show Schedule:
Friday Nights at 7pm is the weekly series, "Southern Nights"
Saturdays at 3pm is a Children's Matinee; at 5pm a General Matinee, at 7pm an in-house Special Feature, and at 10pm Music 360 Full-Dome Music Videos. See Web site for current shows.

Tickets are $4 for Adults and $3 for Children/Seniors for Planetarium Shows; and $10 for Music 360 Shows. Cash only. Tickets available 30 min prior to each show.

Planetarium Shows are on Fridays at 7 pm and Saturdays at 3 pm, 5 pm, and 7 pm MUSIC 360 Shows are at 10 pm Saturdays. Cash Only.

The Santa Fe Teaching Zoo houses 80 species of animals, with about 250 individual animals in its collection, including white handed gibbons, red ruffed lemurs, American bald eagles, Galapagos tortoises, African grey parrots, and Matschie’s tree kangaroo.

The Santa Fe Community College Teaching Zoo is a zookeeper training facility on 12 forested acres that is open to the public for tours on a limited basis. The guided tours are led by zoo keeping students, sometimes called as “Zooies.” The tours are designed to give visitors a more educational and enjoyable experience and to give zoo students more experience working with the general public.

Saturdays and Sundays 9 am-2 pm, tour starts every 30 minutes, or by appointment.
Admission: $4 adults 13-59/ $3 children 4-12.
